V8 Supercars1
The V8 supercars racing calendar has a few highlights every year, and one of them starts this weekend with the Clipsal 500, an endurance race consisting of two 125 km races and one 250 km race over 4 days is kicking off in Adelaide this weekend. As part of the build up to the Clipsal as it’s known, AppMajik has released a Clipsal 500 app for Android.

As an Adelaide Resident and V8 Supecars tragic, the build up to and week of the Clipsal 500 event is a highlight of the year for me. There’s an amazing buzz around town, the drivers come early to build the hype and the track side experience is absolutely wonderful. One of the issues that people have at dynamic events such as the Clipsal 500 is following the on-track entertainment.

AppMajik specialises in getting information to event attendees about goings on at festivals, having released apps previously for big name apps like Splendour in the Grass, Soundwave and the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

The Clipsal 500 app includes options to view a lot of the information anyone attending the event could want, including the option to browse the Event Schedule and Plan your day, or check out event maps, view driver and Team information and of course see the race results – essentially everything you could want to keep up with the Clipsal 500.

The app is a great addition to the experience at one of the biggest sporting events on the SA calendar, so if you’re heading to Adelaide for the Clipsal this weekend make sure you check it out on Google Play.

The app was not found in the store. 🙁
