Huawei Watch
Last month, Huawei advised that the Marshmallow update for Android Wear would be coming in the next month. True to their word, Huawei has begun rolling the update out to Huawei Watch, with the OTA link now available for anyone wanting to side-load it.

Huawei advised customers on their customer support site that the update would be arriving today and apologised or the delay.

The update is available as an OTA file if you’re willing to go through the steps to update your watch, if you’re willing to update manually you can download the update from LCB43B to MEC23L here.

If you’re not willing to update your watch manually, of course you can just wait and the update should hit your wrist shortly, with more control of the eco-system Google has been quite on the ball rolling updates for Android Wear out to customers.

The Marshmallow update for Android Wear brings a number of new updates to wrists like new gestures, but the most notable update where the Huawei Watch is concerned is that the internal speaker in the watch is being activated to allow you to play music, take calls and listen to messages.

To ensure you’re up to date, make sure your Huawei Watch is connected to the Android Wear app on your phone.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
