Google introduce customisable map stickers for Home and Work

GoogleMaps_StickersLaunch

It’s not Wednesday anywhere in the world but that hasn’t stopped Google’s Maps team launching a new whimsical feature for Google Maps on Android, customisable stickers for you home and work locations on maps.

Simply launch Google Maps on Android – it doesn’t work or even show up on iOS or the web as yet – bring up either your home or work location and select the “change icon” option to select from the range of home and work stickers.

Once selected the Sticker will now appear over your home or work location.

The update seems to be live now but as it the way with Google updates it may be rolling out progressively so if you don’t have the feature yet rest assured it is coming to Australia. Hopefully driving mode won’t be far off for those of use down under.

Which sticker did you choose? Let us know below
