McFlip 2

From time to time we like to check in on crowdfunding campaigns to see what’s new, what’s delayed and what’s being shipped. One such product is the universal reversible Micro-USB cable from Winning Gear the “MicFlip”.

So what is a universal reversible Micro-USB cable? It’s exactly what it sounds like, a Micro-USB compatible cable that has been designed to fit whichever way you plug it in. That’s right, you don’t need to switch to the cutting edge USB type C devices to get a reversible USB cable with the MicFlip you can have that with any standard Micro-USB port.

Many crowdfunding campaigns don’t get funded, some get funded and seem to never ship, and others end up shipping something a long way away from what was promised. MicFlip falls into the category of got funded and shipped what they promised. If you backed MicFlip you’ve got your cables.

The Cable comes in 20cm, 1m and 2m lengths and boasts:

  • 1 Meter
  • Aluminium Shell
  • Gold Plated Plugs
  • Braided Cable
  • Reversible Micro USB

If you’re interested in getting your hands on a MicFlip or two you can either drop by their crowd funding campaign or their website. Costs start from as little as $12USD with free international shipping on some packages.

We’ve been in contact with the company and are expecting a review unit, so if you want to know how the cable fares drop back and we’ll let you know.

Would you like a reversible Micro-USB cable? Lt us know in the comments.
