HTC may finally release an Android Wear watch next month

HTC One Wear
Since announced as a launch partner for Android Wear way back in March 2014, the big question has been where is HTC’s Android Wear watch? According to our favourite internet leaker Evan Blass, the HTC Android Wear watch could arrive as soon as next month.

In a tweet today through his @evleaks account, Evan updated a previous tweet saying we would finally see the watch in April.

Both tweets don’t actually mention Android Wear, instead listing the device as a wearable, but HTC has apparently had an Android Wear device in development for some time, with rumours going back to at least September last year.

The schedules for hardware launches is a fickle thing, with plans changing constantly. The updated schedule doesn’t say whether it will be a US-only launch, or indeed if it will be global but we can hope. Stay tuned for more as soon as HTC announce anything.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
