Songsterr Guitar Tabs & Chords
If you’re musically inclined chances are you’ve picked up a guitar at one stage or another. Songsterr Guitar Tabs & Chords offers users the option to learn 500,000 song.

Straight up, there’s no hidden In-App Purchases in Songsterr, it includes all 500,000 tabs and chords as well as high quality transcriptions – there’s only one version of a tab per song, no double ups. The songs are attributed correctly meaning that the artists who created the song get paid.

The included Tab player includes a realistic guitar engine with multiple instrument tabs for bass, drums, vocals and of course guitar. You can slow down tabs in more difficult parts to learn them and loop them to practice until you have it just right. You can also play tabs back with no internet connection.

All in all, Songsterr Guitar Tabs & Chords sounds like a great app for the budding musician. If you want to check it out head over to Google Play and grab it now for just 20c.

Out There: Ω Edition
It’s not every day that you’re warned to check the games forum site for strategy tips, but if a good, hard game is what you’re after then Out There: Ω Edition sounds like it’s for you.

This is a space adventure game, with a killer soundtrack from composer Siddhartha Barnhoorn (Antichamber, The Stanley Parable), the game has a hard sci-fi feel with dark and melancholic overtones according to the description. The story line? Well:

You are an astronaut awaking from cryonics not in the solar system, but… out there… in a far and unknown place of the galaxy. In Out There, you will have to survive, tinkering your ship with what you can gather drifting in the void, and spot garden planets to refill your oxygen supply.

Space is an hostile place ; dangerous and mysterious adventures will mark each step of your travel. You will not only meet intelligent species that won’t care about you, but also deal with ancient powers linked to your destiny and the fate of mankind itself.

Survival and understanding of what is really at stake in the galaxy is the core of what Out There has to offer.

The game is jam packed with over 350 multiple choice decisions with 4 different endings. You can make different technologies from different alien materials.

Out There: Ω Edition includes 59 achievements in Google Play Games and a leaderboard to check out your position against other players and your friends.

If Out There: Ω Edition tickles your fancy, then head over to Google Play and grab it now.

I`m on the fence this week, i`m not a musician, but Songsterr looks pretty good. Then again, anything with Ω Edition in the title has to be cool, so check them both out.

If you’re still in the mood for a bargain, you can get Go Launcher Prime from the Go Dev Team and Ravensburger Puzzle for just 20c each for a limited time.
