The 8th Harry Potter Book goes up for pre-order on Google Play Books

harry potter 8

Did you think Harry Potter was over with the defeat of Voldermort? WRONG. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, is based on the characters created by J.K. Rowling and was written as a stage production by Jack Thorne. The Special Rehearsal Edition has been co-written by John Tiffany and Jack Thorne.

This is not a novel, it is the official script playbook for the upcoming West End show. The book will be released following the show’s 30th of July inaugural preview performance. Following the preview release, the production’s official stage release will follow at which time a Definitive Collectors Edition will be published containing any changes made to the script following the preview releases.

So what’s it all about?

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places

If you’re a die-hard Harry potter fan chances are you already know about this book, however, you can now head on over to Google Play Books and ‘reserve’ a copy for yourself.
