With free shipping to Australia, the Ember – or in fact any of the Robin’s – will set you back around $400 AUD. That’s a solid price for the device.

In addition to announcing the Ember Nextbit also announced the much-requested enhancement to the Robin’s smart storage system to offload videos to the cloud. At launch the feature is only available to the Nextbit beta users – sign up here to become a beta tester – while they ensure the new feature is stable.
Following the beta the feature will roll out to all users allowing the Robin to dynamically manage the local/ cloud storage of your videos to ensure you always have the right mix of available space on your device and local access to your content.
