Pokémon Go gets an Honest Game Trailer

pokemon-go-header
I`m a fan of Pokémon Go and of the Honest Movie Trailer series from Screen Junkies, and though that team isn’t behind this three and a half minute Pokémon Go Honest Game Trailer it gets the tone, and the general feel just right.

It’s both an honest take and a bit of a jab at the game, but also recognises the global phenomenon that currently is Pokémon Go. Check it out:

With Niantic head John Hanke recently saying in his San Diego Comic Con panel that the game is only 10% complete as of now, the video describing the game as a ‘fad’ may be a bit harsh..

Future plans for the game should build momentum quite ably with features and Pokémon coming to the game soon. Hancke announced that Pokémon Go would soon let you trade Pokémon and modify Pokéstops and Gyms, as well as build Pokémon Health Centres – surely enough to keep even casual players involved.

Small correction/clarification. Not sure John said 10% done. I think he said 10% through there original thoughts.
