It’s been a long time between drinks for a decent Chromecast offer, but owners of Google’s Chromecast dongle will be pleased to see a new offer for Spotify Premium has now shown up.

The offer of 2 months of Spotify Premium is open to owners of the Gen1 or Gen 2 Chromecast as well as fittingly the Chromecast Audio dongle.

The offer, which runs until September 15 is only available to new users who haven’t used Spotify Premium previously. You need to add a Credit Card or PayPal account to use the service – prepaid cards nor Spotify gift cards aren’t eligible. After the 2-month trial you’ll pay $11.99 per month so you’ll need to cancel at the end of the second month if you don’t want to pay that.

You can through the Terms and conditions on the Google Chromecast Offers page to check for all the details.

To redeem your two months of Spotify Premium you need to head to chromecast.com/offers and check for your Chromecast.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
