Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Star Trek with deals on Movies, Books and Music

Trekkies it’s time to don your Spock ears and stand proud, it’s 50 years since NBC first aired the ground breaking sci-fi on September 8th 1966. To mark the occasion, Google Play is holding a sale on Star Trek Movies, Books and Music.

The sales are pretty good too, with discounts on all 10 original universe movies discounted to $4.99 in SD/$5.99 in HD, and the new universe movies just $7.99 in SD/$9.99 in HD. Also discounted are a range of novels and comic from the series, and for the music lovers, the soundtracks from the Movies and Next Generation TV Series.

Unfortunately Google Play doesn’t actually have the Star Trek TV Shows listed for sale, so there’s no discounts there. You can catch all the Star Trek movies and TV Series on Netflix if you’re a subscriber.

If you’re a lover of all things Trek, head over to Google Play and check out the discounts on offer.
