You can now order TPU cases for the Pixel and Pixel XL in bulk

It’s so close you can almost taste it. The rumoured October 4th announcement date is approaching, and though we’ve not heard anything official, the leaks are getting closer. We saw a TPU case the other day for the Pixel XL and now if you want to you can actually buy them for the Pixel and Pixel XL.

The TPU cases for the Pixel and Pixel XL are being sold on AliExpress in bulk with the Pixel XL selling for $131.77AUD for 100 of them at $1.32/piece, while the Pixel is selling in lots of 300 for $342.32AUD that’s $1.15/piece. They don’t really give anything away, except for the colour options of the cases, though they do show the wide visor space for the camera and what appears to be dual speaker openings at the bottom.

Pixel (Sailfish)

Pixel XL (Marlin)

There’s always the chance that these aren’t the real deal and simply made from the leaks and renders we’ve seen around the place, but then again most Chinese based case manufacturers generally end up with phone size and port/button placement specs long before launch to make sure accessories are ready to sell.

If you’re interested in ordering a bulk lot of TPU cases for the Pixel or Pixel XL you can have them here in a little over 2 weeks.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it. • You'd have to be mad to buy these before the final phones are released. Very decent chance they're not going to fit and they're just trying to get rid of them in bulk before everyone finds out they're junk.

    • The ones I purchased for the Nexus 5X and 6P a month before they were announced last year fit perfectly and didn't cover the laser auto focus. As I said in the article, the case makers do get size specs prior to launch to have cases ready for the actual launch.

      • All fair, all fair. Not disputing that. I'm overly cautious in general so take my comments with a grain of salt!
