WhatsApp finally new camera features letting you add text, drawings and emoji to photos and video

Popular messaging service WhatsApp has announced new editing tools to make sharing photo and video with your friends, family and colleagues around the world a bit more fun.

In the latest update to WhatsApp for Android (iOS is coming soon), you can now write, draw or add emoji to photos or video you have on your phone or capture with your camera. Once you capture a photo or video you’ll then get an option to add these features, you can change the colour and font of text you write on the picture too.

Video also gets a new zoom feature when recording letting you slide your finger up and down to zoom in or out. You can also quickly switch between front and rear cameras by double tapping on the screen.

The new features are in the latest update to WhatsApp so ensure you have the latest version from Google Play to try them out.
