Google announce their first ‘Next’ conference focusing on the Google Cloud platform

google-next

Google seems to be continuing with their recent trend of breakout specialised conferences, unlike the last few however this isn’t a Summit. The Google Cloud Next event looks to be selling itself as a full blown conference. “Next 17” will be held March 8 – 10 2017 at the Moscone Center West in San Francisco, a previous and perhaps future home of Google IO. The first Next conference was this year under the umbrella of the Google Cloud Platform team.

What can you expect from Next ’17? Next will be the quintessential conference for the new Google Cloud division encompassing all of the products across Google Cloud Platform, G Suite, Maps, Devices and Education. The conference will follow the typical formula with wit ha Keynote, new product announcements, demonstrations and all of the other developer and partner events you would expect.

The schedule isn’t out yet so if you want to be notified about the event when new information comes to light jump on down to the link below and sign up. With 141 days between now and the conference we expect a little more information just may leak out in the lead up to the event. You can bet that some of us will be tuning in live come March.
