If there was any doubt that Google is a little serious about this Material thing you can officially dispel that doubt. Google has given their design language a new home and an increased range of support and tools, where is this new home?

Online of course, at Material.io.

The new site provides both a single repository for all of the material design guidelines, assets and support tools as well as a vibrant site to show off those very principles. Check out their announcement video below.

If you’re a designer or you’re working on a development project right now head on over to the Material.IO site and check out the tools and resources on offer. Even if you’re not intending on utilising the Material Design Design Guidelines there are some great resources you may still find useful.

The design may never be done, but this post is.
