woolworths-google-play

If you’re like many of use you wait for Google Play gift cards to go on special every few months to “top up” you balance. If so now is the time to strike, with Woolworths about to offer 20% of all Google Play gift cards.

One interesting thing of note here is the end two cards, the 4th card has no denomination on it, making us wonder if it is able to be loaded with a “custom dollar amount” and the last card is Christmas themed, also no showing an amount.

We’re heading down to Woolworth to check these out today, even though they are not on sale,  so we’ll let you know what we find out.

Are you going to “top up your account”? Let us know below.

Does this convert to 20% off the cost of a Pixel in the Google Store?

No. Google Play Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase hardware.

Unfortunately not, as Fabian said, you can’t buy hardware with Google Play credit.
