  • Telstra is still blocking 7.0 on Nexus devices, I had to buy a Vodafone sim to finally get the update

    • I concur - I have a Nexus 6P which I had to enrol in the Google Beta program to get the update.

      • Valid rebuttal for confirmation of the claim... there is something fishy going on and while there are a good number of ways to get the update ... with this device there shouldn't have to be - update should just roll out.
What would be really good to appreciate with whats going on, not only for the 5x users but for Pixel users going forward - remember both were Telstra exclusives.

A 5x that happens to have a telstra sim shouldn't be sitting back on an August security update!
