Google’s hardware advertising continues with tap, tap to Chromecast

The Chromecast is probably Google’s first, and perhaps only, runaway successes from a consumer hardware perspective. Google has doubled down on hardware this year with the Made by Google event launching the Pixels, Google Home, Google WiFi and the Chromecast 4K.

To go along with the new hardware has been a concerted effort to market the released products. This week, Google has released a set of videos promoting Chromecast. There are 7 new promos which heavily focus on the simplicity of the tap to cast UI for Chromecast, check them all out below.

The videos are a bit of fun, but somehow seem to skip to 10 – 30 seconds of waiting to see if the Internet gods will actually allow your content to travel downstream, of course, that may just be Australia’s incredibly sub-par internet for those who don’t live within the bounds of a marginal electorate the NBN.

still no word on when the Ultra will be available? or for that matter when Google Play will start selling UHD video?

negative on both, he fact we’ve got a pre register option for the chromecast ultra suggests it’s a stock and timing thing, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it before Christmas. As for google play 4k content it has to be coming, the question is obviously when, until then you’ve got YouTube
