At least one of the new Google Maps features has gone live

Earlier this week we exclusively revealed that Google was testing new features for Google Maps. This evening we’re seeing one of those features live for some of the team.

For the Local Guides or avid map editors out there, you may be interested in a quick way to jump into your contributions tab, and thanks to the new shortcut you can.

The contribution tab is where you can see all of your current contributions like map edits, reviews and photos as well as a launchpad for making more.

The new shortcut seems to be linked to the latest 9.43 update. Check out your contributions on the Google Maps app and see if you’ve got the shortcut shortcut.
