If you’re looking for a bargain this week then Google Play has you, offering 50% off any Movie or Album on Google Play. For those looking for a new music streaming service, Google is also offering 4 months of Play Music.

The banners offering the 50% off discounts are showing up on the Play Store, with the 50% off Album offer showing on the main carousel of offers on the front page. The 50% off any Movie offer is showing on the Movies section of Google Play.

The Movies offer is valid for any movie or Movie Bundle available on Google Play and has to be redeemed by the 23rd of January, while the Music office is also available for any album, but you have until the 28th of January to claim your offer.

The Google Play Music offer for 4 months of service is also showing up on the front page of Google Play. It’s likely this offer is only available to new subscribers, but after the 4 months is up you’ll be back to playing $11.99 each month.

It’s not clear how long Google will offer these bonuses for so get in fast.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
