Who doesn’t love a bit of pre-Christmas Star Wars? Thanks to a deal between Samsung and Disney, the electronics giant has released a 360° Video to their Australian YouTube channel based in the Star Wars / Rogue One timeline.

The 360 video sees you flying a routine recon mission in your X-wing with nothing but your wingman and an R2 unit to keep you safe. If only you were less dedicated to your job perhaps you wouldn’t have made that jump to investigate those strange Imperial signals coming from that small moon.

Watch the video to see what happens to Mon Mothma’s recon squad.

Once could guess this is intended to provide a little content for Samsung’s Gear VR headset, but thanks to YouTube you can enjoy is anywhere from your PC to a Daydream View. Hope you enjoyed the flight!
