If you’re a parent (or a disorganised bloke who shops on Dec 24 every year) you’re going to recognise the pain of having too much to do and not enough time to do it in on Christmas Eve. One thing I”ve managed to do today is entertain the kids by checking out Google’s Santa Tracker with the kids.

The Santa tracker has improved every year and this year is no exception, now the jolly fat man is enroute to Australia (NZ deliveries already done) you can see his flight path, distance from your location, expected time he’ll pass you by and the astounding number of presents that he’s delivering real time. If you’re looking to kill some time before heading to bed, there is also a few cool little games and puzzles if you scroll down a bit.

Since he’s currently over the Solomon Islands and will be heading towards Australia’s Eastern States very soon, it’s time for everyone to be packing up for the night and heading to bed.

I hope I get a new Android device…
