Samsung has announced that Mr DJ Koh, President of Samsung’s Mobile Communications Business will hold a press conference, and live stream, to announce the results of their Note 7 investigation. The event is scheduled to be held at 12-noon Sydney time this coming Monday, and we will be on the live stream to get all the details.

Here is what Samsung had to say about the event:

“Following several months of comprehensive investigations, Samsung executives will announce the cause of the Galaxy Note 7 incidents and quality enhancement plan during a press conference in Seoul, South Korea, on January 23, 2017.

Samsung Electronics, as well as independent expert organizations who conducted their own investigation into various aspects of the Galaxy Note 7 incidents, will share their findings.

Samsung will discuss the findings of the investigations and unveil new measures Samsung has implemented in response to the incidents.”

I for one am looking forward to putting the Note 7 issues behind, they have dragged on a bit, and get back to looking forward to exciting things. I bet Samsung feels the same! Lets hope Samsung takes our advice and has a good story to tell.

If you want to watch along you’ll find the event live-streamed here.
