Vaya introduces new lower-priced 4G data-only plans

Vaya, one of Australia’s low-cost MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) has today announced a new range of data only 4G plans to bring you cheap fast data month to month. Vaya operates on the Optus 4G network, and the plans will allow you to tether to the SIM and should technically work in a mobile as a data only device.

The new plans offer 4 new month to month data plans ranging between 5Gb for $15 to 70GB for $65. The prices definitely are competitive compared to the competition. At the $15 price point Optus, Vodafone and Telstra offer 5GB, 2GB and 2GB respectively. At the $55 price point Optus, Vodafone and Telstra offer 25GB, 13GB and 15GB respectively, a far cry from the 50GB on Vaya.

As an added bonus Vaya offers a price match guarantee where not only will they match any other telcos offer pricing they will give you the next months data free. This should mean that you stay ahead of any future price drops from the competition.

If you’re on the lookout for a cheap month to month data only SIM and you get good coverage from the Optus network perhaps Vaya is worth a look?
