Sweet Aussie Deals is exactly the kind of locally-developed app we love to talk about at Ausdroid, as it offers the perfect marriage of Material Design – which we love – and a great website which many of us already use. OzBargain is a great place to find a good price on things, discount codes, special offers, and so much more, and it’s rather easy to use. Like many things, though, on the small screen some users want a little more, and that’s where Sweet Aussie Deals comes in.

Developed by Peter Luu, a local of Parramatta, Sweet Aussie Deals gives OzBargainers access to the following features on compatible Android devices:

  • A home screen widget for easy access to top bargains
  • Status bar notifications
  • The ability to log in, comment, and message
  • A dark theme for night-time bargain hunting
  • The ability to search and set reminders

If you’re an avid user of OzBargain, you might find Sweet Aussie Deals to be a great companion to your mobile bargain hunting. We love what Peter’s done with this app, and we look forward to seeing how it evolves.

Sounds great, thanks for reporting it. I’m going to give it a go. BTW Google Play links not working.
