Sports and music enthusiasts can get excited today with the launch of the Jaybird X3 Wireless Sport Headphones in Australia.

The sweatproof Bluetooth headphones are in-ear buds which sit comfortably in your ear thanks to a range of different size fins which have been re-designed for enhanced comfort and ear tips. The earphones connect wirelessly to your phone or tablet giving you up to 8 hours of wireless playback.

Rory Dooley, general manager for audio wearables, Jaybird said of the X3 ‘The new X3 headphones deliver supreme audio quality and secure sport fit, so you have the ultimate wireless accessory to your active life’.

The Jaybird X3 earbuds also make for a great buddy workout, with an option to share the music you’re listening to with another pair of X3’s. You can also pair your buds with two different devices at once, so you can be listening to music on your PC and answer an incoming call on your phone.

The earphones also have an in-line remote to control your music and calls, and you can now customise your sound settings through the MySound app available on Google Play.

You can get your hands on the Jaybird X3 earphones from today exclusively from JB Hi-Fi and Apple stores in either Blackout (Black) or Sparta (White) for $199.95.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.

Sweet! I’ve been waiting for these to come in ever since i lost my X2s 🙁

I picked up a black pair from JB Hifi last week and have been using them in the gym since – they are fantastic, and the inclusion of comply tips is a godsend (silicon tips have never given me a good seal). The Jaybird mysound app is great to customise your equaliser settings too. I use on a Galaxy S7Edge and they’ve been flawless. About 8 hours battery is about right, too.
