Samsung is doing pretty well with their VR efforts thanks to the Gear VR. They’re leveraging their popularity and size to increase content as well with the Samsung VR Pass, and this month you can watch the X Games in Minneapolis with your Samsung Gear VR.

Samsung announced the VR Pass ahead of the UFC 212 event last month, it includes three events including this months X Games in Minneapolis. The X Games runs from July 13th and 15th and you’ll be able to catch all the BMX and skateboard action live on your Gear VR.

Here’s what you can expect:

The event is streamed through the Samsung VR application which is available for free on the Oculus Store, and of course you’ll need a Gear VR headset and compatible phone.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
