After launching the Summer 2017 Android Mini at San Diego Comic Con last week, Andrew Bell, the artist behind Dead Zebra and creator of the Android Mini collectibles, has announced the Watermelon flavoured droid will go on-sale in his store tomorrow night.

The 3″ Android mini in Watermelon flavours, will go on-sale from 10am EDT on the 2nd of August, that’s midnight AEST on the 3rd of August for us here in Australia. The Summer watermelon figure consists of a ‘translucent faded melon body and rind head’. Andrew sold the figures for $10USD each at SDCC, and shipping on single boxed figures usually runs at around $14USD.

If you want a Watermelon Android you can jump in from midnight tomorrow night. There’s no official stockists here in Australia, so if you want one you’ll have to import.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
