We’ve seen several renders of the Google Pixel and Pixel XL 2 by now, but we love Pixel so here’s some more. The images come from accessory supplier MobileFun who have listed Olixar branded Flexishield cases for the phones.
The cases are shown in Clear, Blue, Purple and Black for both the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2. They don’t show a real lot beyond what we’ve seen thanks to Android Police in their mockup, and the 3D render built by @onleaks previously.
MobileFun appears to have used the same render for the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 in their renders. One difference to note between the 3D renders and these case leaks is the position of the flash in the Pixel XL 2. In the 3D renders of the Pixel XL 2 we see the flash on the right hand side of the camera lens in the video from @onleaks, while on the case renders it’s situated on the left, closest to the side of the phone.
MobileFun has been behind several legitimate leaks over the years – we’re actually wondering how they’re still going. The renders show the familiar design we’ve seen with an almost bezel-less display that looks very much like the LG G6. The render also has front facing speakers and on the rear that camera bump we saw in the 3D render video is also present still.
We’re a couple of months out from seeing the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 announced, rumours put the Pixel 2 as being HTC built while the Pixel XL 2 should be built by LG. We’ll probably see more case leaks in the lead up to launch.
