Good news/Bad news: Copper Google Home bases in stock on Google Store but Carbon bases sold out

If you’ve been wanting to class up your Google Home with a different base, then the good news is that the Copper coloured metallic bases are now in-stock, but unfortunately the Carbon coloured metallic bases are sold out.

The bases will cost you $59 to ship to Australia using the free shipping method, or you can pay $9.00 for standard delivery for a slightly faster shipment, or $17 for international priority for the fastest option.

The Google Home bases are made of a composite of painted steel and polycarbonate (a really hard plastic) and they’re quite strong. Easy to replace, they simply twist on and off as you can see in this hands-on video from the launch event last year:

If you’ve been waiting for the copper coloured Google Home bases then head across to the Google Store and grab one now.
