Google Assistant powered Mobvoi TicHome Mini now up for pre-order

It’s been a long wait since it was announced over a month ago at IFA, but one of the first third party smart speakers with Google Assistant built-in is now available to pre-order.

The TicHome Mini from Mobvoi is now available to pre-order with a discounted price of $79USD (it’s MSRP is $99USD) for those wanting to get in early. Available in four colours, the TicHome Mini looks darn stylish in that Teal colour, but grab whichever suits your decor.

The speaker is tiny, yet features a 3W speaker and is durable with a waterproof IPX6 rating making it great for a bathroom or to have around the pool in case of accidental splashing. A dual Mic array will be great for picking up your voice when you ask Google Assistant a question.

The speaker has a dual-band WiFi connection for getting information, streaming music and more, or if you’re after something a little simpler you can pair it as a standard Bluetooth speaker.
