Buying a TV is a big purchase, and any freebies you can get with it are appreciated so if you’re contemplating a 2017 Sony TV you might be eligible for some neat add-ons.

The offer is valid for only selected models, with the Bravia A1, X94/93E, X90E, X85E and X80E, with Sony – and apparently Google –
offering a UHD movie, a Pure Stock Pack for Real Racing 3 which includes 2 free upgrade cars and additional free R$10,000 in game currency and 3 months of access to Google Play Music.

The promotion runs from the 25th of October until December 31, 2018 and you can claim the freebies through your TV. How exactly do you redeem your freebies? Sony says:

Open the Home screen by clicking on the HOME button on the TV remote controller, then choose Sony Select in Featured Apps. You’ll find information on Google Play offers under the Promotion tab. On Sony’s Android TV™, you can redeem the movie offer from the Google Play Movies & TV app, and the music or games offers from the Google Play campaign link in promotion information.

This ties-in neatly with the availability of UHD movies on Google Play, the selection is fairly limited though with just four movies we can find: Spiderman: Homecoming, Rough Night, Life and Smurfs: The Lost Village – but free is free, and Spiderman: Homecoming is awesome…just saying.

If you have a 2017 Bravia, you may want to check this out.

Thanks: Everyone who tipped us.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
