It looks like Woolworths is at it again, this time targeting customers to encourage online shopping, offering a free Google Home Mini when they spend $300 in one transaction at Woolworths Online.

The offer is being sent out to selected Woolworths Everyday Rewards customers similar to the offer we saw last month encouraging customers to spend pre-defined amounts in-store over a period of weeks. With this offer, you simply make one large purchase.

According to the terms and conditions for the deal which appear on the page promoting the new Woolworths Google Assistant App, you need to spend at least $300 in one transaction on Woolworths online, and enter the Google Mini unique code at the checkout.

There’s plenty of things you can’t purchase to make up the $300 total, including purchases of smoking/tobacco products and accessories, Gift Cards (including iTunes), mobile recharges, Woolworths Mobile, travel cards and tickets, woolworthsflowers.com.au, and Carpet Care and lottery products. You also can’t include Delivery charges in your total amount.

Once you’ve qualified for the deal, Woolworths will deliver your Google Home Mini within 10 days of placing your order – separate to the Woolworths online order you just placed.

It seems like this offer is not being sent to those who have already received the previous Google Home Mini offer, so if you never received that one you may want to check your email.

Woolies are fkn hopeless I give up. It’s been 25 business days and still nothing. The supervisor say they will follow up LOL they never did. Never receive any email or update. Say they have sent it. COMPLETE BS.


I made a qualifying order on 24 November and still haven’t received the Google Home Mini even after 2 phone calls, 3 emails and being placed on a “missing list”. Got 40 people at our place for Christmas….guess Woolworths are going to lose my Christmas order.
