50% off any Movie deal on Google Play now live

There it is folks as announced on their blog last night, Google is offering you the change to buy any movie on the Play Store at 50% off.

Saying ‘any movie’ is a little misleading as the deal is for any movie regularly priced at $30AUD and under, which unfortunately rules out most of the movie bundles which we’ve seen discounted in the past. It does work with Movie Bundles priced under $30 though such as the Men In Black Trilogy, Ninja Turtles two-pack (yeah, I didn’t want those either), Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs two-pack and a few more.

It also doesn’t work with the UHD versions of movies however, with Life, Rough Night and Smurfs: The Lost Village not allowing me to apply the discount – but would on the HD and SD versions, Booo!

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
