Stone the crows: Australian Google Store has discounted Google Home Mini and Daydream View gen 2

It appears that Google must have listened to my wild ranting, because the Australian Google Store is now offering discounts on the Google Home Mini and Daydream View gen 2.

The Google Home Mini has been discounted to just $55 (that’s $2 more than it is selling for at Australian retailers) a discount of $24 from its usual $79 price tag, while the Daydream View gen 2 Virtual Reality headset and controller combo is selling for $119 – a discount of $30 from its usual $149 price tag.

The discount on the Daydream View is running from now until the 9th of December, while the discount on the Google Home Mini runs until the December 31, 2018 at 11:59pm PT according to the Terms and Conditions – we’re pretty sure that must be a typo (and we’ve asked Google), so it will possibly change shortly. Both deals do have a ‘While Stocks Last’ clause in their terms and conditions as well.

Unfortunately it doesn’t look like Google Home, which is currently selling for $128 at Australian retail stores has been discounted, nor have the Pixel 2 phones, Chromecasts or accessories. Still, it’s the best sale we’ve ever seen on the Australian Google Store, get over there and get in fast.

With free shipping and limited Mini stock in many stores I think this a pretty good deal
