JB Hi-Fi have discounted the Google Pixel 2 phones by up to $100

Google do not have a history of discounting their phones in Australia but earlier today we saw that it was discounting the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL on the Play Store. For those looking for a Pixel 2 phone it gets better with JB Hi-Fi discounting them even more.

From today JB Hi-Fi are discounting their Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones between $80 and $100 for a limited time. As previously you still get a free Google Home Mini in the Chalk flavour with each Pixel 2 phone purchase.

The offer is available both in-store and online although there will be shipping charges with your online purchase. JB Hi-Fi seem to have all their usual models in stock and with many people preferring to purchase phones from an Australian retailer this could be the way to go.

  • Pixel 2 (64GB) – Normally $1,079 – now $999
  • Pixel 2 (128GB) – Normally $1,229 – now $1,129
  • Pixel 2 XL (64GB) – Normally $1,399 – now $1,299
  • Pixel 2 XL (128GB) – Normally $1,549 – now $1,449
  • If you have been waiting to purchase a Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL in the lead up to Christmas then head into your local JB Hi-Fi and grab one now before the sale ends.

“Not a premium phone” … on the level of hardware included, performance, software compatibility and camera quality, this is by and large a premium phone. The cameras alone destroy the OnePlus 5/5T in all third-party reviews and comparisons. Just because *you* don’t like something doesn’t mean your opinion is fact. The Pixel 2/2XL are designed, marketed and reviewed as premium phones and despite some initial issues the XL model had, they’ve been applauded as one of (if not *the*) Android phone to buy in 2017. I just think you’d offer your stance a lot more credibility if you didn’t say… Read more »

I can’t believe they’re still selling the Pixels at this discounted price, due to all the screen issues with this phone, But in saying that I would probably buy the Pixel XL 2 if/when it drops to $999!!

They need to discount the pixels by about $250 or 300.00 to be priced for what they are worth imo .
The current prices are a joke .

Probably the prices they should have launched at really but good to see some discounts leading into Christmas.
