Coral (Fabric) and Copper (Metal) bases for Google Home now in stock on Australian Google Store

If you’re looking to jazz up your Google Home with a fresh look, there’s some good news with the Coral and Copper coloured bases for Google Home now in-stock on the Australian Google Store.

The Coral base, which sells for $29 is a fabric base similar to the supplied grey one on your Home, while the Copper coloured one is priced at $59, and is made of metal. The fabric base is made of polycarbonate with a fabric outer made of 33% nylon & 67% polyester that’s both hydrophobic and antimicrobial, while the metallic base is made of painted steel.

The bases are available with free delivery which will get it to your door between Dececmber 27 and January 2nd, or you can pay $9 to get it between the 21st to 26th of December, alternatively if you really want it fast you can pay $17 for International Priority shipping to get it between the 19th to 22nd of December.

A metallic Black version is also listed, but remains ‘Out of Stock’ so we’ll let you know when that one arrives in stock.

Changing the bases is quite easy as you can see in this video we shot at the launch of Google Home last October.

If you’re sick of the boring Grey look of your Google Home here’s your chance to get a new look for your Home.

I just ordered a copper metal base. But looks like there are some issues for the metal one a gap can be clearly seen between the body and base. Watch this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vhPSV_ivdU

If mine gets the same issue I will return it probably.
