HQ Trivia is now available on Android

Just 4 days ago it became apparent that popular iOS trivia app HQ Trivia would be coming to Android today, and with today now rolling around, HQ Trivia is now available.

We’ve not been able to play a game yet, as the next round hasn’t kicked off just yet, but here’s how the app looks on my phone:

Apparently the game mechanic is fairly straight forward; twelve questions run twice a day, and if you’re correct at each question, you can share in a prize pool of cash.

The next game kicks off at 3.45PM this afternoon, so you’ve got four hours or so to install and take part. Today there’s an $18,000 prize pool, which is pretty cool. If you’re going to check it out, feel free to chuck my referral code in ‘ozcjr’ and I get an extra life or something.

I’ll be tuning in this afternoon to see how it works 🙂

    1. So how’d y’all go? I was driving at the time so missed the start. Will have to wait until the next one.

      • I missed yesterday’s one because – like you – I was driving. However I had a crack this morning and lasted till round 7 or so I think. They had a question about the NBA and I know next to nothing about American basketball. Still, it’s a moderately entertaining experience … not sure I’m fond of the host though. Very annoying and over the top.

        • The host is the worst thing ever. Was expecting to spend 2-3min doing the quiz, this idiot was talking for 10 minutes before hand. I don’t think this is something I will do often.
