CES has been a big show so far with loads of Android, Google Assistant and Chrome OS devices being announced. Android TV is also getting a showing with Westinghouse stepping into the ring with a new range of TVs powered by Android TV.

The TVs will range in size, starting with a 43″ set, but there’s also 50″, 55″ and 65″ TVs in the range. The TVs are all 4K resolution for optimal picture quality, and include built-in Wi-Fi as well as 3x HDMI inputs and component/composite as well with Optical Out to connect to your amplifier.

Pricing is aggressive for the sets, which will start at $350USD for the 43″ before going up – $400USD for the 50″, $450USD for the 55″ and $700USD for the 65″. Local pricing hasn’t been announced as yet, but we’ll be following up later in the year.

The Android TV powered range are due to arrive first in the US in Q3 2018, with the company expecting to expand availability to the UK and Australian markets.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
