Google adds Android P SDK and Emulator Images to SDK Manager

The much-hoped for launch of the Android P Developer Preview is now live and Google has already added Android P SDK and Emulator Images to SDK Manager.

The SDK manager in Android Studio is showing new packages available to download under the Android P Preview for Android SDK Platform P, as well as Google Play, Google APIs and Android TV packages for the Intel x86 platform.

The Android P (yep, we’re hoping for Pavlova) Developer Preview brings about many improvements and new features including improved privacy, support for screen notches and indoor tracking support. You can read all about the new updates here.
