Residential property developer, Peet, in collaboration with Ogilvy Melbourne, have launched a VR360 degree app called, Vision360, which has been designed to help potential homebuyers visualise what the development will look like once completed.
The app, which launched officially today, allows potential homebuyers and users in general, the ability to view key features of the community including innovative parks and playgrounds, waterways and sports precincts, which certainly does make a change from the *usual* high gloss computer generated posters and photos found in sales sites, websites or booklets usually handed out.
Managing Director and CEO of Peet, Brendan Gore, has said in a statement that,
“Using virtual reality technology, Peet Vision360 allows customers to fly through established Peet communities to get a full 360° picture of what their life could look like.”
Whilst David Ponce de Leon, ECD at Ogilvy Melbourne, also said
“Buying land and building a home in a new community requires a leap of faith. In many ways, it’s investing in a future that doesn’t exist yet. Peet Vision360 will give homebuyers a clear vision and feel of the Peet communities they love, and wish to live in. It’s a real solution to a real business challenge and we are thrilled to be part of this exciting project with our partners at Peet.”
Now before you go downloading the app to try it out, the app is only limited to 7 developments around Melbourne which include Acacia and Summerhill in Botanic Ridge, Aston in Craigieburn, Cornerstone in Werribee, Newhaven in Tarneit, and the established communities Aspect in Greenvale and Quarters in Cranbourne.
