Wednesday , October 17 2018 Ausdroid » News » New incoming ‘Peep’ flavoured flocked Android Mini from Dead Zebra announced

Spring has sprung, the grass is….wait, no it hasn’t. Well, it has in the US and Andrew Bell, the artist behind our favourite Android Mini figures has a new set coming out to celebrate Easter and the coming of Spring.

The set of three 3″ tall Android Minis come in a fuzzy, flocked texture in pastel Pink, Yellow and Purple colours reminiscent of the sweet Easter treat known in the US as ‘Peeps’. Peeps are made of marshmallow with a sugary coating that are sold in North America. They’re usually shaped like bunnies or chicks, but in this case, it’s Androids.

The set of three goes on-sale on March 20th at 11am EST – or 2am AEDT for those here in Australia – and come in a nice display box.

Pricing hasn’t been announced as yet, but we’ll find that out soon enough – and don’t forget you’ll have to pay for shipping too. You can see them over on the DeadZebra website right now.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.

I hope this isn’t the name for Android P. I’ve never heard of Peeps and I’m sure most of the world outside of America is the same.
