The announcement of the next OnePlus flagship was originally expected to be around June but that time frame has now changed in most people’s minds. The sheer number of OnePlus 6 leaks, hints and images showing up is becoming a flood. Now this evening we have seen an image of the OnePlus 6 in the wild.
The photo comes courtesy of Dutch website, Techtastic and shows the front display of the OnePlus 6. On the display we can see that the processor within it is the Snapdragon 845, as expected. Unfortunately more specs are not revealed aside from this and some basic processor information.
Not only is the display visualised but the notch is as well. The notch looks to be of similar size to that in the Huawei P20 Pro — although the image shows the status bar as blue OnePlus are expected to have a software option that allows the user to make the status bar black, effectively “hiding” the notch. An impressive feature of this phone is the near lack of bezels at the bottom of the phone making nearly the entire front of the phone display only.
The OnePlus 6 is expected to arrive in the next few weeks coinciding with the release of Avengers: Infinity War. It will, as per most OnePlus devices, be packed full of high end specs and run a smooth, relatively clean version of Android. It is expected to arrive with gesture control as seen in the Oreo ROMs on the OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5T.

I have already stated today how much I’d love to get my hands on one of these and this image has done nothing to whet my appetite for it. What about you? Are you all in on it too?
