OVO is making a big play for new users with their latest offer, which gives new users signing up to their pre-paid plans a 50% discount for the first 3 months.

The deal runs from today until the end of May, and is only available to new subscribers taking up a new pre-paid plan. The range of plans include starter packs with 1GB of data for $4.98 per month for the first three months, through to their higher end plan which includes 19GB of data for just $24.98 per month for the first three months.

The OVO plans also include access to OVO Play, their sports and entertainment video package which offers access to motorsport, gymnastics, water polo and the Australian Esports League (AEL).

OVO CEO, Matt Jones said of the new promotion

This promotion is about us giving some extra encouragement to fans of our content to take the next step and sign up for a mobile plan. We’ve recently passed the 100,000-hour threshold of unique video content available on our platforms, and we’d love our fans to be able to watch as much of it as they like without burning a single meg of mobile data.

The offer for half price plans is an online offer only via ovo.com.au and runs until 31st of May 2018. Customers also need to stay on auto recharge for 90 days to take advantage of the half price plans. If you want to check it out, head over to their website now.
