If you’re settling in for a Netflix binge this weekend, then you’ll be pleased to find out that you can now skip the intro if you’re using your Chromecast.

According to Android Police, v6.3.0 of the Netflix app now throws up an option to ‘Skip Intro’ in the bottom of the screen when you play the episode. Netflix introduced the option to skip the Intro on shows for their various apps including the one for Android TV some time ago, so it’s good to see it make its way to Chromecast streaming.

It’s not guaranteed that you’ll get the Skip Intro button on v6.3.0 of the Netflix app, so it’s possibly still being tested before a larger rollout. You won’t know till you try, so make sure you have the latest version of the Netflix app, and give it a go.
