The Blackberry KeyOne was well received by those who used it and now the second re-incarnation of the famous Blackberry name is about to arrive in the Key2. Blackberry Mobile have today posted a very short teaser on YouTube announcing that it will be arriving in June.

The video shows the device to be black all over with a new textured finish on the back of the device. The buttons, including the physical keyboard, appear to be different to those on the KeyOne as well. Blackberry have also included a new dual rear camera setup to keep up with the high standard of smartphone cameras we are seeing this year.

Blackberry pause the appearance of the phone and spotlight a new button on their physical keyboard. Of course it is not known what this button actually does but we suspect it may well be a digital assistant button.

All will be unveiled on June 7 in New York City with the tagline “an icon reborn”.

After Blackberry Mobile brought the KeyOne to Australia we fully expect the Key2 to arrive here as well. We will keep you posted should any local details arise.
