One of the most fun things to do with a new phone is to put it through its paces – streaming video, playing games, and more. That can take a bit of data though, so Kogan has an offer you might be interested in.

On eligible phone purchases from Kogan.com, you’ll now receive a free Kogan Mobile 30 day Large plan (16GB of data with unlimited standard calls and texts).

You’ll have to check Kogan’s website for the list of eligible phones, but – spoiler – it features somoe 239 devices including Samsung’s Galaxy S6, S7, S8 and S9 (and some tablets), OnePlus 6, Pixel 2, Moto G5S Plus, Kogan’s own Agora phones and something called an iPhone.

The offer gives you a great chance to test out Kogan Mobile’s service – powered by Vodafone’s 4G network – and maybe stick with them if you like it. It’s available until the end of next month (11.59pm on August 29).

Before discovering the Nexus One, Jason thought he didn't need a smartphone. Now he can't bear to be without his Android phone. Jason hails from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane depending on his mood and how detailed a history you'd like. A web developer by day with an interest in consumer gadgets and electronics, he also enjoys reading comics and has a worryingly large collection of Transformers figures. He'd like to think he's a gamer, but his Wii has been in a box since he moved to Sydney, and his PlayStation Vita collection is quite lacking. Most mornings you'll find him tilting at various windmills on Twitter - follow @JM77 and say hi!
