With Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 to be announced in just 18 days from now, on August 9 in New York City, the rumour mill surely has just about run out of grist. However, overnight we got the best glimpse yet of Samsung’s Galaxy Watch plans, alongside a brand new Galaxy Note 9 render in beautiful lilac.

Colours first. The lilac colour debuted with Samsung’s Galaxy S9 range earlier this year, and I fell in love with it. With the specifications race just about run and won, cameras, battery and bold colours are the real differentiator today, and the lilac colour is both bold and beautiful.

It’s little surprise, then, that Samsung will release the Galaxy Note 9 in lilac as well, and my goodness doesn’t it look great?
