For those of you wanting to curl up on the couch and watch a movie this weekend, then Google Play is offering some great deals on rentals for Disney and Marvel movies – as well as some decent pricing on other movies.

The Movie Frenzy sale on Google Play Movies lists over 150 movies in HD quality in the sale, ranging in price from $0.99 for a number of Marvel movies such as Dr Strange, Thor, Iron Man, Spiderman: Homecoming, as well as Disney movies like Coco, Wreck-It Ralph, Big Hero 6. There’s also more recent releases such as Peter Rabbit, Ready Player One and Rampage for $2.99ea as well.

Rentals from Google Play last for 30 days or 48 hours after you begin playback, so you can even rent one of these if you don’t plan to watch it for a couple of weeks.

Not a bad deal if you don’t want to own the movie, head over to the Movie Frenzy Sale on Google Play to check it out.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.

This seems to be available not just on the play store as I noticed the same promotion on my Fetch TV box last night.
