Lego’s Powered Up series of app-controlled models has arrived down under this month where it’s now on-sale for $139.99.

The Powered Up series, announced earlier this year in May, will consist of a number of models – A few trains, as well as a Ninjago themed Dragon and a roller coaster are on their way – all of which will feature the ability to be controlled by an app on your Android or iOS device.

The series is starting with the LEGO Super Heroes App-Controlled Batmobile (76112), a 321 piece lego set which also includes a Batman Minifigure.

The set is available now on the Lego Australia online store, or if you want to try your luck in-store the set can be purchased exclusively through Big W stores, though Lego did say that sets would be limited.

If you like the idea of building and then controlling your own caped-crusader in a Batmobile, you can head over to the Lego website to check it out.
